The Indian Army created history on the night of 7 May. With the resolve to bring justice to the innocent people killed in a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian Army crossed the Line of Control and attacked the enemy’s heart, which Pakistan did not even imagine. From April 22, the army was preparing to take revenge. For the next 15 days, there was a tremendous strategic churning under the leadership of Chinar Kore. The objective was clear – to eliminate the terrorists and their patrons who shed blood on Indian earth. But when to do this blow, this secret was only with the core commander.
The army made ‘Surprise’ its greatest strength. There was no additional movement in any area, no activity was seen. But internal, arms, equipment and necessary resources were being collected from across the country. The daily preparation was at its peak.
Indian Army carried out infallible attack
Then came the night of 7 May. The Army attacked Shawai Nala and Syedna Bilal terrorist camps in Pak occupied Kashmir, about 34 km from the Line of Control. The attack was so suddenly and accurate that the Pakistani army did not initially understand what happened. By the time they were in a position to respond, the Indian artillery and the air defense cannons thwarted their every effort.
Only terrorists targeted
The army targeted only the places where the presence of terrorists was confirmed. Where women and children were found to be present, attacks were not carried out keeping in mind human values. In this attack, about 64 Pakistani soldiers were killed on the other side of Kashmir, while more than 15 terrorists were killed.
This military action was not only a demonstration of military power, but it was also a message that India would give a befitting reply to any attack on its citizens. Silently, but with complete preparation and accuracy.
