Bhopal, September 7 (IANS) Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijay Singh has used the word impotent for BJP state president VD Sharma, due to which a round of political rhetoric is going on.
Madhya Pradesh government minister Vishwas Sarang condemned Digvijay Singh’s statement and said that he has always crossed the limits in the politics of the state and the country. Digvijay Singh has been the Chief Minister of the state twice and the National General Secretary of the Congress Party. Currently, he is a Rajya Sabha MP from Congress. Is this kind of vocabulary appropriate in politics? I wonder to what level he wants to take his political rivalry? Certainly this is a shameful and objectionable statement.
He further said that the decision to remove Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir was in the interest of the state and the country. PM Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah took a very good decision. By eliminating terrorism from Kashmir, work has been done for development and public welfare there. After the removal of 370, new dimensions of development will be established in Jammu and Kashmir. BJP will wave the flag of victory in the Jammu and Kashmir and Haryana assembly elections.
Actually, during a press conference in Bhopal on Saturday, Digvijay Singh gave such a statement, after which BJP attacked him.
When the media asked him that BJP President VD Sharma has accused you of having links with terrorists, Digvijay Singh reacted strongly to this and said, “If VD Sharma considers me a supporter of terrorists, then I am disappointed at his impotence.”
Digvijay Singh claimed that the RSS is targeting Muslims just like Hitler targeted Jews. He further said that the RSS and BJP are working on a strategy to separate Hindus and Muslims.
