New Delhi, October 7 (IANS). Congratulation continues for Prime Minister Narendra Modi on completion of 23 years in the constitutional post. In this context, BJP MP Manoj Tiwari praised PM Modi for the transformative reforms and programs in Gujarat and the entire country.
Talking to IANS, Manoj Tiwari said that, in 23 years, Narendra Modi became the Chief Minister and also the Prime Minister. Along with the welfare of the poor, he has also worked for the country. Today, the development journey continues under the leadership of PM Modi. He has worked for the country in almost every field, be it space programme, construction of better roads, respect for sports and sportspersons or the subject of national security as well as giving global identity to India.
He said that, PM Modi has dreamed of making India a developed nation by 2047. We are working rapidly to complete this. I consider myself very fortunate that I have got the opportunity to work under the leadership of PM Modi for 10 years. Today I would like to congratulate PM Modi. He is working continuously without taking any leave. He also celebrates Diwali and Holi with the army, which is an example for all of us.
Before taking over as Prime Minister in 2014, Narendra Modi served as the Chief Minister of Gujarat from 2001 to 2014, becoming one of the longest serving chief ministers in India. Narendra Modi has become the Prime Minister for the third consecutive time by winning the Lok Sabha elections held in the year 2024 for the third time.
Since taking charge as Chief Minister of Gujarat on 7 October 2001, Narendra Modi initiated a series of development policies. This gave a new shape to the state. His tenure as Chief Minister of Gujarat was known for various issues related to industry, better agricultural system and people. His government set an example on everything from water conservation to cleanliness.
Water conservation was given priority during his tenure as Chief Minister of Gujarat. Also, PM Modi made cleanliness a public campaign. This thinking laid the foundation of the nationwide Swachh Bharat Mission in the year 2014.
