The Congress said on Wednesday after US President Donald Trump claimed to stop military conflicts between India and Pakistan once again that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is still “silent”.
Party General Secretary Jairam Ramesh also claimed that Trump himself has taken credit for mediation for at least 25th time in 73 days, to stop military conflicts between India and Pakistan.
According to reports, Trump again said, “We stopped the war between India and Pakistan. They were probably going to reach the nuclear war. They had hit five aircraft … I called them and said that if you do this, there will be no business.”
Ramesh posted on ‘X’, “On the one hand, the Modi government is refusing to give fixed dates of discussion on the issue of Pahalgam terror attack and operation vermilion in Parliament and is not giving any assurance about the Prime Minister’s answer, on the other hand, President Trump has reached the silver jubilee of his claims on this issue.”
He said that in the last 73 days, President Trump has beaten up 25 times on this subject but the Prime Minister of India is still completely silent.
Ramesh took a sarcasm, “The Prime Minister is only getting time to destabilize foreign visits and democratic institutions of the country.”
In fact, Trump has claimed several times that he had stopped the military struggle between India and Pakistan through a trade agreement.
India, on the other hand, says that after contacting the Director General of Military Operations of Pakistan (DGMO), it was considered to stop military action.
