Tug of tug of chair in Karnataka continues? Why Rahul Gandhi is doing 'Weight and Watch?'

The Congress’ power in power in Karnataka has now reached Delhi. Rahul Gandhi has given a message to both of them to wait for the tug of war between Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivkumar. But the question is, how long will this wait last?

Siddaramaiah said with confidence among his supporters at Karnataka Bhavan in Delhi, “No place is empty, I will be the Chief Minister for five years.” At the same time, DK Shivkumar sought time to meet Rahul Gandhi with patience. The two leaders hoped that they would meet the top leadership of the Congress and resolve the equations of power, but Rahul Gandhi gave priority to the meeting with the leaders of Gujarat that day. According to sources, both were not given time to meet Rahul. Instead, Randeep Singh Surjewala, in -charge of Karnataka, spoke to both for several hours. Rahul and the top leadership gave the message that Karnataka will have to wait and focus on fulfilling election promises.

There has always been a challenge of power between two big leaders in the Congress. In Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh too, Rahul Gandhi refused to change the leadership, but the situation there was never normal. The same story is being repeated in Karnataka. Siddaramaiah claimed that he would be the Chief Minister for a full five years and there is no power partnership agreement. On the other hand, Shivkumar’s supporters say uncertainty has become very long. Taking advantage of this opportunity, the BJP lashed out at Siddaramaiah, saying that Rahul insulted him.
