While addressing the media, Home Minister Amit Shah wished Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his birthday. He said that PM Modi was born in a small family and became the Prime Minister of the world’s largest democracy and 15 different countries of the world have given him their highest honors, which has increased the pride of not only the Prime Minister but the entire India.

He further said that for the first time in 60 years, a leader is leading the country by becoming the Prime Minister of the country for the third consecutive time. For the first time in 60 years, an atmosphere of political stability has come in the country and everyone has also experienced the continuity of policies. He said that entering the 11th year by maintaining the direction, speed and accuracy of the policies for 10 years is a very difficult but a great achievement.

He said that today India has become the most preferred center of production in the whole world. Many countries of the world want to understand, accept and make our Digital India scheme the basis of their development. He said that we have brought discipline in all 13 parameters of the economy and have made progress. He said that today the whole world sees India’s bright future in the field of space. Along with this, he said that in the last 10 years, for the first time after independence, a strong foreign policy has been seen.

Amit Shah said that in the last 10 years of the Modi government, 60 crore poor people of the country have been provided with houses, toilets, gas, drinking water, electricity, 5 kg of grains and health facilities up to Rs 5 lakh. He said that we have set a target that in the next 5 years there will be no person in the country who does not have his own house. The Union Home Minister said that many schemes have been brought keeping in mind the development and prosperity of our farmer brothers. Through these schemes, the grain reserves in the country will remain full, by becoming self-reliant we will be in a position to export and the prosperity of farmers will also increase.

Amit Shah said that the 100 days of Modi 3.0 are going to lay a strong foundation for the creation of a ‘developed India’. These 100 days have been a wonderful coordination of development and poor welfare by involving every section. Projects worth about 15 lakh crore rupees have been started in the first 100 days of Modi 3.0. 100 days have been divided into 14 pillars. Under infrastructure, projects worth 3 lakh crore rupees have been started in 100 days. A mega port will be built in Vadhavan, Maharashtra at a cost of 76 thousand crore rupees, which will be included in the top 10 ports of the world from the very first day. A plan to connect 25 thousand isolated villages with roads worth 49 thousand crore rupees has been started. It has been decided to expand the major routes of India at a cost of 50,600 crore rupees. Work is being done to promote tourism by upgrading the Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport in Varanasi, Bagdogra in West Bengal, Bihta in Bihar and building new airstrips in Agatti and Minicoy. Phase-3 of Bangalore Metro, Pune Metro, Thane Integral Ring Metro and many other metro rail projects have also progressed in these 100 days.

The Union Home Minister said that in the last 100 days, many reliefs have also been given to the middle class. Under tax relief, there will be no income tax on income up to Rs 7 lakh. The third version of One Rank One Pension has been implemented and 3 crore houses have been approved under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. One crore houses have been approved under the Urban Housing Scheme and 2 crore houses under the Rural Housing Scheme. So far in the year 2024, solar energy has reached more than 2.5 lakh houses under the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme. Through this unique scheme, not only the electricity bill of middle class families is reduced, but it also contributes to the fulfillment of the target of solar energy. We have approved PM e-Bus services with an assistance of about Rs 3,400 crore to create an environment friendly system.

Amit Shah said that by adding 75,000 new medical seats, we are moving towards ending dependence on foreign countries for medical education. A target of 3 years has been set for this. The first Space Day was celebrated on 23 August, under which many schemes have been started to encourage teenagers and youth to take interest in the field of space. National database for disaster management and Panchayat portal for rural land records have been started. A semiconductor unit has been set up in Sanand, Gujarat and in the coming 10 years, India will become a big player in the field of semiconductors.

The Home Minister said that three new laws – Indian Justice Code (BNS), Indian Civil Security Code (BNSS) and Indian Evidence Act (BSA) – have been implemented on 1 July 2024, replacing the more than 150-year-old criminal laws made by the British. Along with this, Amit Shah said that by deciding to celebrate 25 June as Constitution Hatya Diwas, an effort has been made to make the coming generations aware so that the country does not have to go through the dark period of Emergency again.

He said that we have been able to do so much in the first 100 days of the third term of the Modi government. The reason behind this is that at the time of elections, all the political parties were busy with the elections, but Prime Minister Modi had given the task to the bureaucracy 6 months before the elections that all the development works that are in the pipeline, should be completed for whichever new government comes, so that the pace of development of the country is not hindered. The result of this thinking is that we have been successful in taking development works worth lakhs and crores of rupees a long way within 100 days. Through these, not only will the pace of development of the country increase, but the country will also be safe and prosperous. We will also move forward in the field of education by implementing the new education policy.
