Dharwad, November 19 (IANS). Union Minister Pralhad Joshi said in Dharwad on Tuesday that the Union Home Department is working to control the riots in Manipur. This is a sensitive issue.
While talking to journalists, the Union Minister said that the Union Home Department is working to control the riots in Manipur. This is a sensitive issue. Every effort has been made to make everything right in Manipur. The riots in Manipur are sensitive and complex. I don’t compare it with previous riots. Similar riots have happened before also. There was no such control then. It is unfortunate that a person dies. He said that every possible effort is being made by the Government of India and the Home Ministry to control the situation there.
Apart from this he said that this has happened before in the history of Manipur also. It has been going on for three to five years. It is being controlled through talks and with the help of police action.
Talking about Maharashtra elections, Joshi said that I have gone there to campaign. We will win on a massive scale in Maharashtra and Jharkhand. We won for the third time in Haryana. We will win in Maharashtra also. If we look at the 2019 elections, even then we had got the mandate, we had won 130 seats.
At that time, Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena betrayed the BJP and formed the government with three other parties. Uddhav Thackeray formed the government with the help of anti-Hindu forces and opponents of Bala Saheb Thackeray. Due to this, many Shiv Sena MLAs became angry and then a grand alliance was formed. A lot of work has been done there under the leadership of Devendra Fadnavis and Eknath Shinde. He said that there is a lot of popularity for Prime Minister Narendra Modi there. I have full confidence that a grand coalition government with full majority will be formed there.
Let us tell you that voting will be held on 288 seats of Maharashtra Assembly on November 20 and the results will be declared on November 23.
