Union ministers are roaming around in Jharkhand to buy MLAs and MPs and break the party: Hemant Soren

Jamshedpur, September 10 (IANS). Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Tuesday reached the constituency of Champai Soren, who had defected to the BJP. Here he said that Union ministers are roaming around in the state to buy MLAs and MPs and break the party.

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party of conspiring to buy and break MLAs and MPs.

Addressing a public meeting in Chandil of Kolhan division, which is under the influence of former CM and his cabinet colleague Champai Soren, he said, “Central government ministers and BJP leaders are roaming around in our state to buy MLAs and MPs. They break the party with the power of money. Sometimes they say that so many MLAs are with us and sometimes they say that so many MPs are with us.”

Soren said that the public does not elect them, these people form the government with money. The people of the state should be ready to teach such people a lesson. It seems that these people have kept a money printing machine at home and think that with the help of this they will capture the whole country.

He further said, “When we formed the government in 2019, a conspiracy to topple it started from the very next day. After the formation of the government, we struggled with the challenges of Covid for two years and after that, for two years, the opposition sent ED and CBI after us. They kept harassing us continuously. They do not like that I can work for the poor, the elderly, women and youth of the state.”

Talking about putting them in jail on false charges, Chief Minister Soren said, they do not know that this is the land of heroes. We are not even afraid of bullets and guns, so what can they do to us by showing the fear of jail.

Accusing the Centre of meting out step-motherly treatment to Jharkhand, Soren said that workers in our state are paid the lowest wages under MNREGA in the entire country and this money too has been withheld for a long time.
