Political parties have started baking their bread for the by-elections on 9 assembly seats of Uttar Pradesh. Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samajwadi Party have announced their candidates. At the same time, BJP has not been able to announce the names of its candidates yet. It is being told that once again there is a problem regarding the names on the seats.
Confusion created on these seats
According to sources, BJP had almost finalized the names of its candidates on 8 seats. After Congress did not contest the elections, SP will field its candidates in Khair and Ghaziabad also. It is believed that now BJP can change its strategy. Apart from this, there is confusion regarding Katehari, Manjhwa and Phulpur seats. BJP can now select candidates for these seats keeping in mind the caste equation.
BSP changed its candidate
Samajwadi Party has now fielded its candidates on seven seats and had left the seats of Khair and Ghaziabad for alliance partner Congress, but Congress has refused to contest the elections. After this SP can announce its candidates here. At the same time, BSP has also nominated its candidates. Mayawati had earlier given ticket to Ravi Gupta for Sisamau seat, however later Virendra Shukla was made the new candidate.
