Ballia, 16 February (IANS). Ballia district administration and railway officials patrolled Ballia railway station on Sunday to control the crowd of devotees going to Prayagraj Mahakumbh and maintain law and order.
During this, the district administration and railway officials appealed to the devotees to maintain peace and patience.
Ballia district Superintendent of Police Omvir Singh said that we are actively controlling the situation. A large number of devotees are traveling by train as they reach the last phase of Mahakumbh. Railway administration, GRP and Ballia police are working together to run the yatra smoothly. We came to inspect the arrangements. However, the crowd is high, but the situation is completely under control.
The Superintendent of Police also hoped that all the devotees would travel safely and return safely after taking a dip in Mahakumbh. Describing security as his primary responsibility, he said that the Ballia police is completely ready in this work.
At the same time, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Mahakumbh Nagar in Prayagraj on Sunday, where he participated in various religious and cultural programs and met saints. He met Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Awadheshanand Giri of Juna Akhara and discussed the arrangements of Mahakumbh.
He then reached the Swarveda Mahamandir Trust at Sadafal Ashram, where he met the saints and saints. The Chief Minister interacted with the Sant Samaj and took feedback of Mahakumbh arrangements and the saints appreciated the preparations of the Yogi government.
