Sambhal, March 18 (IANS). The name will not be allowed to be held by changing the name in Sambhal. SDM Vandana Mishra confirmed this on Tuesday.
After the statement of ASP Sris Chandra, now SDM Vandana Mishra also said that the name of Neja Mela was not given permission to organize it.
SDM Vandana Mishra said that now the event of Neja fair will not be allowed at three places in Sambhal. On Tuesday, some people came for the permission of the Neja fair. But the event was not allowed.
SDM Vandana Mishra said in a conversation with news agency IANS that “Some people wanted the Permission of Neja Mela. Because Neja Mela has not taken the last two years, but no permission cannot be given to them. Neja fair has been held at a total of three places in Sambhal Tehsil area, which has not been in effect for the last two years.”
SDM, who changed the name of Neja Mela to the fair, said, “Fairs were held in the name of Sadbhavna Mela in 2023 but this time there will be no permission in any way.”
Please tell that a dispute has arisen about Neja Mela in Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh. On Tuesday, when there was a preparation to be shielded for organizing the fair, the police covered the place with cement and tightened the security system in the entire area.
However, the situation in Sambhal is completely under control and the police is continuously doing flag march so that peace can be maintained. The administration has confirmed to stop the event, after which opposition has also started to arise in political and social circles. The local administration has decided not to allow this fair for historical and religious reasons, about which reactions are also coming up between various communities.
Apart from this, SDM Vandana said that this is a case of the city area in which an application came to construct the road. After that the road is being constructed near the disputed structure.
