Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena wrote a letter to Chief Minister Atishi saying that the allegations of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal’s allegations of adding poison in Yamuna water and trying to “massacre” in the national capital Are and are similar to endangering national security.
Later, AAP reversed that the Lieutenant Governor has to choose one of the public welfare and his ‘political masters’.
Citing the media reports, Saxena said that Kejriwal’s allegations are “extremely objectionable, unfortunate and undesirable” on the BJP -led Haryana government to add poison to the Yamuna river and try “massacre” in Delhi. .
In a letter to the Chief Minister, he said, “False, misleading, non-intelligent allegations of poisoning on sensitive issues like drinking water and attempt to attempt to massacre and try to incite the public against any other state government not only for the concerned states , Rather, there is a threat to national peace and security. ”
The Lieutenant Governor also said that instead of condemning Kejriwal’s statements, Atishi wrote a letter to the Election Commission on the matter and strengthened the “confusion and fear” among the people.
Saxena said that he hopes that the Chief Minister of Delhi will rise above “narrow interests” and will avoid making “misleading, dangerous and baseless statements and you will also advise the convenor to do the same for public welfare and peace. ”
The issue of water crisis in Delhi took a sharp political turn on Monday when AAP chief Kejriwal accused the Haryana government of being involved in “biological war”. He accused ‘X’ in a post, “poison is being added to it to make Yamuna water unusable. If people in Delhi will consume this water, then many people will die. This is nothing short of mass murder. ”
Reacting to Saxena’s statement, AAP claimed that ammonia levels in Yamuna have reached a worrying level. The party said, “If he cannot rise above partisan politics, he should leave the post. It is not a matter of politics. It is a matter of saving lives. ”
