New Delhi, 1 April (IANS). The Waqf Amendment Bill has been termed as ‘unconstitutional’ by IUML MP ET Mohammad Bashir. He has said that if this bill will be introduced in the House, we will oppose it. Because through this bill, an attempt will be made to snatch the lands of Waqf.
IUML MP E. T. Mohammad Bashir spoke to the news agency IANS on the support of the Waqf Bill by Catholic Bishops Council in Kerala. He said that JPC became about the bill. Some members of JPC have revealed that their words were not heard. This bill is completely unconstitutional and is creating confusion among the people of India. If this bill is brought back to Parliament, we will oppose it. He further said that the BJP has an agenda to occupy the Waqf land through this bill.
On the statement of UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s ‘good’ on the Waqf Amendment Bill, the IUML MP said that he talks useless. In this case too, Yogi Adityanath is doing there.
On the protest of the Malayalam film ‘Emapuran’, the IUML MP said that the way the film is being opposed is not right. When the film was passed by the censor board, why is the BJP entering it.
