Kishanganj, 3 May (IANS). AIMIM supremo Asaduddin Owaisi burnt the upcoming Bihar assembly election in the public meeting against Waqf Amendment Act in Bahadurganj in Muslim -majority Kishanganj district.
In this meeting, he targeted the Central Government fiercely, calling the Waqf Amendment Act a “black law” and an attack on the Sharia of Muslims. Also, he publicly approved the name of AIMIM candidate Tausif Alam from Bahadurganj assembly constituency.
Hundreds of activists, including Owaisi, tied a black lease on the left hand and raised tremendous slogans against the Waqf Amendment Act in this protest held in Bahadurganj. Prior to the start of the meeting, Owaisi paid tribute to those killed in a recent terrorist attack in Palhgam and kept silence for two minutes.
He said, “PM Modi should take strict action against the terrorists who killed our 26 people. The families of the deceased should get justice. We will support every step of the government so that Pakistan does not make such a dictat again.”
Regarding the Waqf Amendment Act, Owaisi said, “This law is designed to loot the property of Muslims, snatch mosques and dargahs. We will not sit silent until the government takes back this black law. This law is an attack on religious and cultural rights of the Muslim community.”
Targeting RJD, Owaisi said, “These Bujdils took our four leaders, but we will bring 24. One day when these people will beg for Akhtarul Iman and Tausif. A public meeting will be held in all assembly constituencies in the coming time. “
Addressing the gathering, Owaisi said, “Many parties will come to Seemanchal, give you wealth and greed. Take their wealth, do not leave, but when it comes to voting, vote for ‘kite imprint’. Started voting, from then on the tongue of all of them, the name of Seemanchal has been raised in Bihar, when the Muslims can have their own political parties, then why can not our party not only protect the interests of Muslims, but will also work for the overall development of Seemanchal.
Owaisi also questioned the caste census in Bihar. He said, “Ethnic census figures were not made public because Muslims were found to be the most backward in it.”
