We are running out of patience with Western interference: Russia

पश्चिमी देशों की दखलंदाजी से हमारा धैर्य खत्म हो रहा है: रूस

Moscow, September 15 (IANS) Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev has said that Russia is losing patience with the interference of Western countries. Medvedev said this in a warning tone through the Telegram channel.

Medvedev said that “nuclear conflict is not in anybody’s interest”. Russia has so far shown restraint in using its nuclear capabilities in response to Western intervention, particularly in the case of precision strikes deep inside Russian territory. However, he warned that “even the greatest patience has its limits”.

According to news agency Xinhua, the warning comes following discussions by the US regarding providing tactical missile systems to the Ukrainian military.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov claimed Western leaders had already made a decision to allow Ukraine to use long-range missiles – and had informed Kiev of the decision, forcing Moscow to respond in kind.

“The decision has been made, complete freedom and all concessions have been given (to Kiev), so we are ready for everything,” Ryabkov said, according to state news agency RIA.

The Kremlin has also signaled its presence on alert in the face of growing threats, with Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov saying Russia was preparing to retaliate.
