Patna, March 17 (IANS). There is a round of statements in the country regarding the Waqf Amendment Bill. Many Muslim organizations and opposition parties have also started protests against the bill. Meanwhile, AIMIM state president Akhtarul Iman in Bihar said that the property of Waqf Board is the property of the ancestors of Muslim minorities.
He further said that this property is imposed to serve the poor, orphans, widows and common people and it is the responsibility of the government to protect it. But from somewhere, those Muslims are also being deprived of the property of their ancestors today, whose mosques were broken, whose beards were touched, whose caps were thrown.
He said that today he is not getting government jobs, government contracts are not getting. Business is not getting a chance. The property of their ancestors is also being robbed. If this black law is passed, a civil war will be created in the country and the government wants to create such a situation.
It is noteworthy that many Muslim organizations demonstrated on Monday at Jantar Mantar in Delhi to protest against the Waqf Board Amendment Bill. People participating in this demonstration say that we do not want the intervention of the government on the Waqf Board and hence we have come here today to oppose this bill.
