On November 16, the Election Commission has written a letter to BJP President Jagat Prakash Nadda and Congress Mallikarjun Kharge asking them to comment on the complaints lodged by both the parties against each other. In its letter to the Congress President, the Election Commission said that the Commission has received a complaint on November 11 from the Bharatiya Janata Party, alleging that during the assembly elections and several by-elections in Maharashtra and Jharkhand, there was corruption by the star campaigners of the Congress. The provisions of the Model Code of Conduct have been violated.
