After the success of Pahalgam terror attack and Operation Sindoor, the ruling BJP has become very active. On the completion of one year of the third term of the Modi government, various programs are being organized by the BJP. The senior -most leaders themselves are interacting directly with the people without taking the front. On the other hand, the opposition Congress party is constantly attacking the central government. On behalf of the Congress, along with Jairam Ramesh, Pawan Kheda, Rahul Gandhi himself has taken the front. Amidst all this, a person is quite missing. He is Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Congress MP from Wayanad and National Secretary of the party. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has been less active for the last few months. Along with party leaders, their dialogue with common people is also getting reduced. Now the question is, where is Priyanka Gandhi Vadra?
Although there has been no official statement from the party about Priyanka Gandhi’s low activity, but according to sources, the party has limited her role this time under the strategy. Some experts believe that Priyanka’s low presence is being used as a ‘silent card’, so that she can be introduced as a new face in the upcoming assembly elections. Interestingly, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s social media activities have also been very limited in recent months. While earlier she used to issue regular tweets or video messages, now they can also be seen lacking.
The Kerala High Court has issued a notice to Wayanad MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. This notice is connection with Wayanad win. In fact, BJP candidate Navya Haridas, who faced him in the by -election, has filed a petition in the court. In this petition, Haridas has accused the Congress MP of hiding his property during the by -election. Along with this, Haridas demands that Priyanka Gandhi’s victory be declared illegal. The petition filed by the BJP leader was heard by Justice of Kerala High Court, who issued a notice to Priyanka Gandhi after considering Haridas’ lawyer Advocate Hari Kumar Ji Nair.
There is no immediate response from Priyanka Gandhi on this issue. The petition filed in the court states that Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi has hidden property information in her election affidavit. Many immovable properties of Priyanka Gandhi and her husband Robert Vadra have been hidden and have not been disclosed. The election was challenged on this basis. Also, according to the petition, Priyanka Gandhi has allegedly hidden details of several investments and movable properties of Robert Vadra in her affidavit filed before the Returning Officer. The case has now been postponed till August 2025. In December, Haridas moved to the Kerala High Court challenging Priyanka Gandhi’s victory in the Wayanad Lok Sabha by -election, seeking ‘cancellation of votes’. The by -elections were held on 13 November after Congress leader Rahul Gandhi vacated the Wayanad seat.
