Because recently, Tarlochan Singh DC (60 years), president of the party’s farmer wing, was murdered in Ikolaha village of Khanna district of Ludhiana. He was shot on the road while returning home from the field. Bike-borne assailants attacked him. Tarlochan Singh found the villagers lying in a blood-soaked condition on the roadside. On receiving the information, the family reached the spot and took him to the hospital, but the doctors declared him dead. The police have registered a case of murder and started investigation. At the same time, the family has expressed the possibility of murder in electoral rivalry in their statement, because he was preparing to contest the Sarpanch election.
Tarlochan Singh intensified election activities
Harpreet Singh Happy, son of the deceased Tarlochan, told the police that Tarlochan Singh had lost the last Sarpanch election. A few days ago, he joined the Aam Aadmi Party and after taking membership, he got the post of Kisan Wing. His stature in the party surprised his opponents. At the same time, Tarlochan Singh was preparing to contest the next Sarpanch election and he had also started preparing for it. He was going door to door and meeting people every day. His supporters were mobilizing, which also created panic among his opponents. That’s why he was murdered. Tarlochan Singh has been murdered due to enmity.
Senior officials of the police department reached the village
According to media reports, there is an atmosphere of tension in the village due to the murder of the AAP leader. As soon as the information of the murder was received, SP Investigation Saurav Jindal, DSP Khanna Amritpal Singh Bhati, CIA Staff Incharge Amandeep Singh reached Ikolaha village. After investigating the matter and questioning the family members and villagers, the SP said that the matter is still being investigated. The accused are being searched. CCTV cameras installed in the entire village are being scanned. Soon the accused will be arrested and the entire case will be revealed.
