Due to this displeasure, Samba district president Kashmira Singh has resigned from the party. In fact, BJP has fielded Surjit Singh Salathia from Samba, who has recently joined the party. Surjit Singh was originally from the National Conference.

It is worth noting that before the elections, many leaders in Jammu and Kashmir BJP are raising their voices of protest. Here ticket distribution seems to be a big problem for the party. Senior BJP leaders are angry over not getting tickets. Due to this, Chandramohan Sharma, who was with BJP for 50 years, has also left the party. Apart from this, leader Rohit Dubey from Katra’s Vaishno Devi seat is also angry. It is believed that both the leaders can contest the elections as independents instead of joining any other party.
