Greater Noida, 6 February (IANS). The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority has obtained a total of Rs 12.54 crore from e-auction organized under two major commercial schemes. The first plan was from the fuel filling station and the second plan was from Hotel Plots. In this, the bid price was much higher than the reserve price, which has benefited the authority.
According to the authority, under the Fuel Filling Station Scheme, an e-auction of a 2,100 square meter plot was concluded on Thursday. The reserve price of this plot was fixed at Rs 11,96,58,000, while the bid price was Rs 12,20,58,000. Thus, the authority will get Rs 24 lakh more than the total bid price.
The second plan of the Yamuna Authority was Hotel Plots. Under this scheme, e-auction of four plots ranging from 3,400 to 4,000 square meters concluded. The total reserve price of these plots was Rs 93,79,76,000, while the bid price was Rs 1,06,09,76,000. Thus, the authority received Rs 12.30 crore more than the total bid price.
Under both these commercial schemes, the authority has received an additional Rs 12.54 crore. After the allocation of these plots, when their work starts, it is expected to invest about 200 crores. About 200 people will get employment when these projects are functional. This will bring mobility in the development of Yamuna Express Way Industrial Development Authority and will promote economic activities in the area.
Significantly, the Noida International Airport to be constructed in the Yamuna Authority area of Greater Noida is going to benefit the people of more than 22 districts. Not only national but international companies are also continuously investing in the Yamuna Authority area and want to establish their factories and companies.
