Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal will file a reply on the notice issued by the Election Commission regarding his comment on the water of Yamuna on Friday.
The party said that Kejriwal will go to the Commission’s office at 11 am on Friday with Delhi Chief Minister Atishi and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann at 11 am.
On Thursday, Kejriwal accused the Commission and the Chief Election Commissioner of doing politics about his statement and claimed that the amount of ammonia in the Yamuna water supplied from Haryana to Delhi is very high. The Commission issued two notices to him seeking an answer on his allegation that the BJP government has added “poison” to the Yamuna water as part of an attempt to “genocide” in Delhi.
Kejriwal, who is contesting the assembly elections from New Delhi seat, has been asked to share the details of the engineer, place and functioning by 11 am on Friday in the case of finding the poison by the Delhi Jal Board employees. Failure to do so will be free to take appropriate decisions in the case.
