New Delhi, Sep 10 (IANS) The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, in collaboration with the Observer Research Foundation (ORF), is organising the Yerevan Dialogue from September 9-11, 2024 in the Armenian capital.
The event will bring together a diverse group of stakeholders, including heads of state, academics, and students, to discuss burning global issues ranging from climate change and conflict to technology and health.
The dialogue will be inaugurated by Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan on September 10.
Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan will also take part in the inaugural session.
Ministers, former heads of state, journalists and experts from more than 60 countries will participate in this conference.
Deputy Prime Minister Xavier Bettel, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Luxembourg, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Hungary Peter Szijjarto, Minister of State for Environment, Forest and Climate Change, India Kirtivardhan Singh and Minister of Labour and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Narek Mkrtchyan will be present.
Five major topics will be discussed in this three-day conference. These include emerging international order, connectivity, green transformation and future of energy, digital society as a stable and secure economic engine and future topics.
With over 170 participants from around the world, the Yerevan Dialogue will bring global debates to Armenia and foster new ideas, solutions and perspectives.
