Yogi Adityanath will lead the Vijayadashami procession along with worshiping Guru Gorakhnath.

Gorakhpur, October 12 (IANS). On the holy festival of Vijayadashami, Gorakshpeethadhishwar and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will perform special worship of Shivavtar Guru Gorakhnath on Saturday.

After that in the evening he will lead the traditional Vijayadashami procession leaving the Gorakhnath temple. The procession will conclude at Mansarovar Ramlila Maidan, where Gorakshpeethadhishwar will worship and coronate Lord Shri Ram.

The Vijay Shobha Yatra that takes place every year on Vijayadashami from Gorakshpeeth, which strengthens the fabric of social harmony and nurtures the spirit of overall public welfare, is unique.

Not only do people from every section participate in the traditional procession led by Gorakshpeethadhishwar, it is also given a grand welcome by the people of the minority community.

In fact, the festival of Vijayadashami is also an opportunity to observe the uniqueness of Gorakshpeeth and the comprehensiveness of its mission on a larger scale. The Vijayadashami procession of Gorakhnath temple is also attractive and unique because people from the minority community also stand with flower garlands hours before at a short distance from the main gate of Gorakhnath temple to welcome it.

According to the tradition of Gorakshpeeth, this year also the procession of Gorakshpeethadhishwar Yogi Adityanath will be taken out with pomp from Gorakhnath temple on Saturday evening on Vijayadashami.

On Vijayadashami, Gorakshpeethadhishwar is dressed in special clothes according to the tradition of Nathpanth. Peetadhishwar will board his vehicle after taking the blessings of Guru Gorakhnath. The procession will reach Mansarovar Temple amidst the sounds of trumpets, drums and band instruments.

After reaching here, Gorakshpeethadhishwar Yogi Adityanath will worship Devadhidev Mahadev at the Mansarovar temple associated with Gorakshpeeth. After this his procession will reach Mansarovar Ramlila Maidan. He will perform the coronation of Lord Shri Ram in the ongoing Ramlila here. Along with this, Aarti will also be performed after worshiping Lord Shri Ram, Mata Janaki, Lakshman and Hanumanji. Gorakshpeethadhishwar and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also address at Ramlila Maidan.

On the day of Vijayadashami, all the deities in the temple complex will be worshipped. After this, Gorakshpeethadhishwar will bless the devotees in the traditional Tilakotsav program to be held in Gorakhnath temple. Vijayadashami procession will be taken out in the evening. Late in the evening, a traditional feast will also be organized in the Gorakhnath temple, in which a large number of people from all communities, irrespective of rich and poor and caste and religion, will participate.
