Ayodhya, October 1 (IANS). The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has banned the sale of meat and liquor in Ayodhya for nine days due to Navratri.
This order of Yogi government will remain in effect from October 3 to 11. According to the order, there is a ban on the sale of meat in Ayodhya district and if it is done, then strict action will be taken against it under the Food Safety and Standards Act-2006.
Let us inform that while communicating with all the District Magistrates and Police Captains of the state through video conferencing on Tuesday, the Chief Minister reviewed the efforts being made for better law and order at the district level in the festive atmosphere. In the meeting, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed that all the districts should assess every small and big incident that happened in the state during festivals in the past years and make such arrangements that this year no untoward incident happens anywhere in the entire festive atmosphere from Sharadiya Navratri to Chhath. Decrease.
To maintain the atmosphere of peace in the state during the festival season, CM Yogi has issued necessary guidelines to ban the sale of meat in the open or the operation of illegal slaughter houses. It has been said that there should not be meat and liquor shops near religious places. Liquor shops should open only within the stipulated period. Continue the campaign against illegal/poisonous liquor.
In the instructions issued by the Yogi government, it has been said that during the time of Shardiya Navratri, there will be a crowd of devotees at all the goddess places. Keeping this in mind, necessary police force should be deployed. There should be better arrangements for the convenience and safety of the devotees at Maa Vindhyavasini Dham in Mirzapur, Maa Shakumbhari Temple in Saharanpur, Vishalakshi Temple in Varanasi and Maa Pateshwari Dham in Balrampur. There should be cleanliness in every temple premises.
