In Indore district of MP, miscreants allegedly attacked two young army officers and their two female friends who were enjoying a picnic on Tuesday night. One of the women was raped. In-charge of Badgonda police station Lokendra Singh Hirore said that the two officers aged 23 and 24 were undergoing training under the ‘Young Officers’ (YO) course at the ‘Infantry School’ in Mhow cantonment town.

The police officer said that he had gone for a picnic with his two female friends on Tuesday. Around 2 am on Tuesday night, seven unidentified people reached the picnic spot on Mhow-Mandleshwar road and started beating an officer and the women sitting in the car.

The station in-charge said that the other officer was away from the car and he somehow informed his senior officers about the incident after which the police reached the spot. Seeing the police, the miscreants fled from the spot. Hirore said that all the four victims were brought to Mhow Civil Hospital at around 6.30 am for medical examination.
