Many areas of Vadodara submerged in water

The weather department has issued a yellow alert for rain in Gujarat today as well. Heavy rain warning has been issued in all districts. Vadodara, Jamnagar, Dwarka are witnessing the most devastation. In Vadodara, the water of Vishwamitri river has entered the city. The level of Vishwamitri river has crossed 34 feet while the danger mark is at 25 feet. Floods are visible everywhere inside the city. The troubles in Jamnagar and Dwarka are also not reducing. Floods have put people’s lives in trouble in Morbi and Ahmedabad as well. Gujarat has received 652.4 mm of rain so far while the normal rainfall is only 558.3 ​​mm. Army has been deployed in 6 districts.

The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for rain in Kutch, Jamnagar, Morbi, Devbhoomi Dwarka, Porbandar districts of Gujarat today. Along with this, there is also a possibility of heavy rain and storm. Orange alert has been issued in Surendranagar, Amreli, Gir and Somnath districts. Alert has been issued for light rain in Banaskantha, Patan, Sabar Kantha, Mahesana Aravalli, Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad, Bhavnagar, Mahisagar, Dahod, Panchmahal, Kheda, Anand, Vadodara as well as other small districts of Gujarat.

19 more people died due to rain

19 more people died in rain-related incidents in Gujarat, taking the death toll in such incidents to 26 in three days, officials said. Heavy rains continued for the fifth consecutive day in some parts of the state on Thursday, officials said. Meanwhile, 17,800 people have been evacuated from flood-affected areas and taken to safer places.

Fierce battle with ‘water’ in Vadodara, Jamnagar, Dwarka

First of all, let us tell you about the situation in Dwarka, Gujarat. The Air Force has been deployed here to rescue the people trapped in the flood. The Air Force personnel are rescuing the people trapped in the flood with the help of helicopters. A bucket is thrown down from the helicopter, then the people trapped in the flood sit in it and the Air Force personnel slowly pull the rope up and rescue the people trapped in the flood. The Army and Air Force personnel have become angels amidst the flood in Gujarat and are engaged in a mission to save people’s lives 24 hours a day.

In Dwarka, the Air Force is engaged in rescue operations with helicopters, while the local administration and NDRF personnel are engaged in rescuing people trapped in homes. People trapped in homes for many days are being rescued through life boats. The colony has completely submerged in the flood. The administration is now shifting people to safer places.

Crocodiles entering residential areas in Vadodara

The flood has caused the most destruction in Vadodara. Everywhere in Vadodara, only floods are visible. People are confined to their homes. Amidst several feet of water on the roads, people are leaving their homes to buy essential goods in tractors. Flood water has entered the houses and shops built in low-lying areas. The water of Vishwamitri river is flowing in Vadodara. Crocodiles living in the river have entered the residential areas, due to which people’s lives are in danger. People who park their four-wheelers and two-wheelers on the roads of Vadodara have suffered a great loss. About 10 thousand cars are submerged in water in different areas of the city.

The whole of Jamnagar is in the grip of flood

Colonies in Jamnagar are completely submerged in water. Ground floors of houses are completely submerged in water. It has become difficult for people to come out of their houses. Everyone is trapped on the second floor of their houses. The roads are filled with water several feet up to the waist. The whole city seems to be in the grip of flood. Be it Ahmedabad, Surat or Vadodara, many areas of the cities have been submerged.
