Many areas of Vadodara submerged in water
The weather department has issued a yellow alert for rain in Gujarat today as well. Heavy rain warning has been issued in all districts. Vadodara, Jamnagar, Dwarka are witnessing the most devastation. In Vadodara, the water of Vishwamitri river has entered the city. The level of Vishwamitri river has crossed 34 feet while the danger mark is at 25 feet. Floods are visible everywhere inside the city. The troubles in Jamnagar and Dwarka are also not reducing. Floods have put people’s lives in trouble in Morbi and Ahmedabad as well. Gujarat has received 652.4 mm of rain so far while the normal rainfall is only 558.3 mm. Army has been deployed in 6 districts.
The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for rain in Kutch, Jamnagar, Morbi, Devbhoomi Dwarka, Porbandar districts of Gujarat today. Along with this, there is also a possibility of heavy rain and storm. Orange alert has been issued in Surendranagar, Amreli, Gir and Somnath districts. Alert has been issued for light rain in Banaskantha, Patan, Sabar Kantha, Mahesana Aravalli, Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad, Bhavnagar, Mahisagar, Dahod, Panchmahal, Kheda, Anand, Vadodara as well as other small districts of Gujarat.
19 more people died due to rain
19 more people died in rain-related incidents in Gujarat, taking the death toll in such incidents to 26 in three days, officials said. Heavy rains continued for the fifth consecutive day in some parts of the state on Thursday, officials said. Meanwhile, 17,800 people have been evacuated from flood-affected areas and taken to safer places.
Fierce battle with ‘water’ in Vadodara, Jamnagar, Dwarka

People who park their four-wheelers and two-wheelers on the roads of Vadodara have suffered a great loss. About 10 thousand cars are submerged in water in different areas of the city.
The whole of Jamnagar is in the grip of flood
Colonies in Jamnagar are completely submerged in water. Ground floors of houses are completely submerged in water. It has become difficult for people to come out of their houses. Everyone is trapped on the second floor of their houses. The roads are filled with water several feet up to the waist. The whole city seems to be in the grip of flood. Be it Ahmedabad, Surat or Vadodara, many areas of the cities have been submerged.
