Vadodara: Three schools in Vadodara in Gujarat have received bomb threats, including Navrhana School. On Friday, the three schools were threatened with bombs through an email. As soon as the information was received, the local police and bomb disposal squad reached the spot and started the investigation. The Principal of Navrhana School received an email threatened, after which the school was closed keeping in mind the safety of students and employees. The police conducted a thorough investigation in the school premises.
Schools declared safe
Apart from Navochan School, two other schools in Vadodara were also threatened. The police took out the students from all schools and searched the entire campus. However, no bomb was found, and schools were declared safe. The police and bomb disposal squad conducted a thorough investigation at the scene, but did not show any kind of danger.
Threat was also received in Tamil Nadu
Earlier, two schools were also threatened with bombs on Tuesday in Aerod district of Tamil Nadu. Two matriculation high schools run by Bharani Vidyabhavan were threatened via email at 11:54 am, claiming to be a bomb. The school administration immediately informed the police and a team of bomb disposal teams, sniffer dogs and policemen started searching in schools.
No explosives found in schools
The police completed their investigation till 3:30 pm and confirmed that no explosives were found in schools, and the threat proved to be false. Let me tell you that on 11 November 2024, a bomb threat was received at Aerod’s Jayasis Matriculation School, which later turned out to be fake. Investigations found that 3 students of class 9 of the school sent an email to get a holiday. Students were expelled from school for their wrongdoing.
