New shocking information has come to light regarding Dharamraj Rajesh Kashyap, one of the shooters who publicly gunned down NCP leader Baba Siddiqui. According to the report, he was very fond of studies in his childhood, he also scored 78 percent marks in 10th class. He wanted to pursue a career in the medical field when he grew up, but his addiction to the internet took him on the path of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. He started considering Bishnoi as his idol.
Dharamraj Kashyap, a resident of UP, is one of the shooters currently arrested for the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddiqui in Mumbai. His elder brother Anurag Kashyap told Times of India that earlier he was not like this, but being continuously active on social media kept pulling him towards the wrong path. Anurag expresses grief saying that he blames himself for Dharamraj’s involvement in the Siddiqui murder case, because being the elder brother, he could not teach Dharamraj to take the right path.
Anurag told that Dharamraj wanted to pursue his career in the medical field since childhood. He was very good in studies. He secured 78 percent in 10th board exam. According to Anurag, now Dharamraj is very scared because of his actions. He came under the influence of videos on social media of gangsters boasting about their dark exploits. He became addicted to earning money and gaining quick fame.
He said, “Gangsters like Lawrence Bishnoi became his idols. I blame myself for not being able to take care of my younger brother.”
According to a Times of India report, Dharamraj was unable to appear for his 12th class board exams, after which he moved to Pune with Shivkumar Gautam. Shivkumar is the main suspect in the Siddiqui murder case and is currently absconding. Anurag said, “Shivkumar is younger than Dharamraj, but he also did not have any criminal tendencies. He had dropped out of school till class five. Neither of them behaved violently during their stay in the village.”
It is noteworthy that veteran politician Baba Siddiqui (66), who had joined the Ajit Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party, was shot dead by three people in Nirmal Nagar area of Mumbai on October 12. The firing took place outside the office of his MLA son Zeeshan Siddiqui. Police have so far arrested 10 people in connection with the shooting, including the two alleged shooters, Haryana residents Gurmail Singh and Dharamraj Kashyap.
