A case has come to light of a 2-year-old girl falling into a 600 feet deep borewell in Bandikui of Dausa district of Rajasthan. The girl was playing near the borewell in the field. This incident took place in ward number one of Bandikui at 5 pm on Wednesday evening. Bandikui police station in-charge Premchand Bairwa said that to rescue the girl from the borewell, the work of digging the soil at a distance of 25 feet from the borewell has been started with the help of JCB machine and other resources on the spot.
As soon as the information of the girl falling into the borewell was received, there was a stir in the administrative department. After this, the administrative staff including Bandikui SDM, Tehsildar, Police Station Incharge reached the spot and took stock of the situation. The administration has started the operation to rescue the girl. Also, NDRF and SDRF teams have also been called to the spot.
According to the police station in-charge, the innocent girl got stuck about 20 to 25 feet down in the borewell. After getting the information about the incident, a large number of villagers also reached the spot. Everyone is praying for the girl to come out safely. A team of doctors has also been called to the spot. Arrangements are being made for oxygen supply in the borewell.
According to the information received from the police, the incident of the girl falling into the borewell happened at around 5 pm, but even after 2 hours of the incident, the SDRF and NDRF team did not reach the spot till 7 pm. In this case, Baswa police station in-charge Sachin Sharma says that NDRF and SDRF team have been called on the spot to rescue the innocent child safely. The team is coming from Jaipur. Soon the team will start the work of rescuing the child on a war footing.
