In Harda district of Madhya Pradesh, a habitual criminal who was released from jail a month ago crossed all limits of brutality. The accused raped a five-year-old girl. According to the information, on Monday late evening, the accused lured the girl and took her to the river bank. There he committed the rape. The accused is being searched. On the complaint of the victim’s family, a case was registered in Chhipabad police station under kidnapping, rape and POCSO Act. The accused has been identified as Sunil (21).
A blood-soaked girl was seen crying on the river bank
According to the information, a person from the village saw the girl crying on the river bank. Seeing the person, the accused fled from there. On receiving the information, Chhipabad police and family members reached the spot. The blood-soaked girl was taken to Sirali Community Health Center. From there, she was taken to the district hospital. The condition of the minor is critical.
Demand for bulldozer action arose
After the incident of rape of a five-year-old girl, anger has spread in the area. Local people surrounded the government hospital late at night. People have demanded the arrest of the accused. Police force has been deployed in view of the angry villagers and the huge crowd. On Tuesday morning, people staged a sit-in protest in front of the hospital and blocked the road. Villagers and family members have demanded that the accused be hanged and a bulldozer be run on the house.
As soon as the information about the incident was received, SP Abhinav Chouksey formed a team and started searching for the accused. On the complaint of the victim’s family, a case was registered against the accused Sunil, son of Jaynarayan Korku, age 21 years, resident of Khari district Khandwa, under kidnapping, rape and POCSO Act. The family members said that Sunil of the same village took the girl with him on the pretext of giving her Kurkure. Where he raped her.
