Excavation work was going on for the construction of Panchayat Bhawan in Shimla, Himachal. There was a stir when a skeleton was found in it. The police team is engaged in investigation.

A skeleton was found during the excavation of a building in the capital Shimla. The incident took place in a village panchayat in Shoghi area, 15 km away from Shimla city. Excavation was going on here to build a new building of the panchayat. Meanwhile, this human skeleton was found. This created a stir in the area and people were stunned. As soon as the information was received, the police team of Baluganj police station reached the spot and started investigation by taking the skeleton into custody. The forensic team has also collected samples from the spot.

According to information received from the police, digging work is going on for the construction of a new Panchayat Bhawan at a distance of about 100 meters from Shoghi Bazaar. The workers engaged in this work were shocked when after digging a few feet, they saw a human skeleton. There was a stone wall around the skeleton. Seeing the human skeleton kept between the stone walls, there was a stir among the local people. After this, the local people informed the police about it.

After this, the police team reached the spot and took the skeleton in their possession. According to the information received from the police, it has become clear that this skeleton is of a human being, but how old it is and whose it is could not be ascertained. In such a situation, now it has been sent to forensics for carbon dating to find out its age. Along with this, its DNA test will also be done. Till now, it is being speculated that this skeleton could be of some sadhu mahatma who sat in samadhi years ago.

The police is also collecting data of missing persons in nearby police stations. People have also been informed about this. If the police comes to know about any suspect or known person, then it will be identified by DNA matching. However, Baluganj police station has started investigating it.
