A shocking incident has come to light in Patiala, Punjab, where a 22-year-old youth named Karan was murdered in public by three unknown miscreants. This incident happened on Friday evening when Karan was returning to his home. The entire incident was captured in CCTV cameras. According to CCTV, when Karan was going towards his home in the evening, three people came on a bike and surrounded him on the middle of the road. First the miscreants surrounded Karan and tried to beat him up. It is clearly visible in the CCTV footage that Karan was pushed from the bike after which he fell.
After this, the miscreants beat Karan badly and then started stabbing him repeatedly in the chest. The attackers stabbed him several times and then fled leaving Karan on the road in a blood-soaked condition. Seriously injured Karan was immediately rushed to the hospital by the locals, but the doctors declared him dead as soon as he reached there. According to the hospital, Karan died due to excessive bleeding.
Police engaged in investigation
Immediately after the incident, the police started the investigation. The police is scanning the CCTV footage of the incident spot and the surrounding area. A senior police officer said that the attackers have been identified. Three youths – Yuvraj, Ansh, and Amanpreet are believed to be responsible for this attack. The police has said that the accused will be arrested soon and strict action will be taken against them.
At present, the real reason behind this attack is not known. The police have started questioning Karan’s family and friends, and in the initial investigation, the possibility of old enmity is being suspected. According to the police, the real reason behind the attack will be clear only after the arrest of the attackers. However, in the preliminary investigation, it has been found that there was some dispute going on between Karan and the accused, due to which this attack may have happened. After this incident, there is an atmosphere of fear and anger in the entire area. Such a brutal murder of a young man on the road has shaken people. Local residents say that such incidents are now becoming common and they have started worrying about their safety.
