There has been no agreement on alliance between Aam Aadmi Party and Congress in Haryana. After many days of ifs and buts, Aam Aadmi Party has now fielded 20 candidates. Now it will contest the Haryana assembly elections alone. Not only this, there is a discussion that Aam Aadmi Party can field candidates on 50 seats in the state. Recently, there was a meeting of the Congress election committee, in which Rahul Gandhi suggested to the party leaders that Aam Aadmi Party can be taken into the alliance. After this, talks started on this from both the parties. But Aam Aadmi Party made a big demand and demanded 20 seats.
When Congress did not agree to this, Aam Aadmi Party was demanding a compromise on 10 seats. Then Congress offered it to take 3 to 4 seats or asked it to go on a different path. Now finally Aam Aadmi Party took a different path. According to AAP sources, the party wanted some seats in districts like Kurukshetra, Karnal, Panipat. AAP felt that it could benefit in areas adjoining Delhi and Kurukshetra. In the Lok Sabha elections 2024 also, Aam Aadmi Party had an alliance with Congress in Haryana.
Then Aam Aadmi Party had fielded Sushil Gupta from Kurukshetra Lok Sabha seat, but he had to face defeat against BJP’s Naveen Jindal. See who are the candidates in the first list of Aam Aadmi Party…
