Bhopal. In Madhya Pradesh’s capital Bhopal, 5 accused who attacked the police who went to disperse the crowd during the lockdown have been arrested. Police is taking action against these accused under the National Security Act i.e. NSA. Let us tell you that during the lockdown, local goons attacked the police personnel who went out on foot patrol. In which two policemen were injured. The injured were admitted to Hamidia Hospital. Taking this matter seriously, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that the attack on the policemen who are working day and night to protect the public from this epidemic will not be tolerated and action will be taken against these goons under the National Security Act.
The police took immediate action and arrested the main accused Shahid Kabutar. According to the police, Shahid Kabutar is a habitual criminal. Yesterday he and his associates attacked and fled. Shahid is said to be a resident of Qazi Camp in Bhopal. According to the police, the Bhopal police had gone to explain to the people not to leave the lockdown and go home, but the criminals under surveillance attacked the police with knives.
Talaiya police station in-charge D P Singh said, “Due to the complete bandh imposed in Bhopal, four-five policemen reached Islamnagar under Talaiya police station at around 10 pm on Monday night to disperse the crowd. As soon as the police asked the crowd to disperse, about 20 people, including two history-sheeters Shahid Kabutar and Mohsin Kachori, present there, attacked the police team with knives, sticks and stones. Two policemen Laxman Yadav and Satish Kumar were injured in this incident.” He said, “Both these policemen have been attacked with knives. Laxman Yadav has been stabbed near the neck, while Satish Kumar has been stabbed in the hand.”
It is noteworthy that the area where the policemen were attacked is a Muslim-dominated area. Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan wrote on Twitter, “Attacks on policemen who are working day and night to protect the public from this epidemic will not be tolerated. Be it ‘pigeon’ or ‘kachori’, no one will be spared.” He said, “It is very important to teach a lesson to the goons and miscreants who spread anarchy. Action will be taken against these goons under the National Security Act.”
