Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge
Ahmedabad: The political ground of Congress in Gujarat has continued to weaken over the last few decades. The Congress party has suffered defeat in many elections in front of BJP’s constant domination and organizational strength. But now the Congress has prepared a masterplan to strengthen its position in the state. The Congress will decide the outline of dealing with the challenges standing in front and grooming its electoral fate in the session to be held in Ahmedabad. This session of the All India Congress Committee (AICC) in Gujarat is being held after 64 years.

Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh says that this is the sixth session of Congress in Gujarat in the history of 140 years of the party. They told-
The first such meeting of the Congress party in Gujarat was held in Ahmedabad between 23-26 December 1902 under the chairmanship of Surendra Nath Banerjee. The third session of the party in Gujarat was held on 27-28 December 1921 under the chairmanship of Hakim Ajmal Khan. The fourth session of the Congress party was held in Haripura, Gujarat on 19-21 February 1938 under the chairmanship of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. The fifth such meeting of the Congress was held in Bhavnagar, Gujarat on 6-7 January 1961 under the chairmanship of Neelam Sanjeev Reddy.

Congress is preparing loudly
The Congress is preparing vigorously to make this event a success. In fact, from the land of Gandhi-Patel, the Congress wants to convey a message to PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah on his domestic soil. Actually, the Congress wants to indicate that it wants to make its presence in the state for the 2027 election. The two -day Congress session in Gujarat will try to highlight the party’s ‘rich heritage’ in the state.
Congress will decide the outline of grooming electoral luck
This session of the party is going to take place at a time when the defeat in Maharashtra, Haryana and Delhi assembly elections after performing well in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections has shocked its hopes. This year the party is eyeing the Bihar assembly elections where it is expecting a return to power with its colleagues. The next year in terms of Congress’s election luck will be important when it will enter the election summer as a contender for power in the assembly elections of Kerala and Assam. She will contest the election with DMK in Tamil Nadu next year, although in the West Bengal assembly elections, she has not yet cleared the picture regarding the alliance.
