In Kota district of Rajasthan, a fight broke out between two groups of the same community over setting up a pandal on Ganesh Chaturthi. After this, people of both the groups came face to face and pelted stones at each other. The incident took place on Lal Burj Road in Kethunipol area. There is an atmosphere of tension in the entire area due to this sudden incident. On receiving the information, teams of Kota Police immediately reached the spot and controlled the situation. Both the parties are said to be Hindus. People of both the groups reached the police station and lodged a complaint against each other.
The grand procession starts from this route
A huge procession of Anant Chaturdashi will be taken out on Tuesday from the same road on Kethunipol Road where the entire incident took place on Sunday. People from different organizations are making preparations for this. Thousands of people are expected to join the procession. This is the area where the wrestlers show their skills during the procession for about 3 hours. In such a situation, people are apprehensive about security after this incident on Sunday.

It is said that after the sudden stone pelting on Lal Burj Kethunipol Lalburj Road on Sunday, rumours spread in the area. People thought that there was a fight between two communities. The shopkeepers of the area were terrified. However, after some time the situation became clear that the matter was not communal. The police also breathed a sigh of relief. Complaints have been lodged in the police station by both the groups. The police is currently avoiding saying anything in this matter.
