A strong electric current suddenly spread in the house of Rajendra Rathore who lived near the transformer and his mother Pushpa Devi and wife Gayatri Devi got burnt due to the electric shock.

After a transformer exploded in Gwalior, 20 to 25 houses in the area got electrocuted. In this, a mother, son and daughter-in-law of a family got severely burnt by the current while the electrical appliances of many houses also got damaged. The burnt family was immediately admitted to the burn unit of Jaya Rog Hospital in Gwalior where their condition is currently said to be out of danger.
Actually, in Koteshwar Colony, a high tension wire fell on the electric transformer due to which the transformer exploded and the current spread to many houses. A strong current suddenly spread in the house of Rajendra Rathore who lives near the transformer and his mother Pushpa Devi and wife Gayatri Devi got burnt due to the electric shock. When Rajendra Rathore reached to save them, he also got a strong shock and he also got burnt. Due to this sudden incident, there was panic in the whole locality and in a hurry, all the three people who got burnt due to the electric shock were immediately admitted to the Burn Center of Jaya Rog Hospital.
Right now everyone’s condition is out of danger. After this incident, an atmosphere of fear has prevailed in the entire area. Also, people have suffered losses as appliances like TV and fridge have been damaged in many houses. Let us tell you that about 20 houses were also hit by the high tension line which broke and fell, due to which current spread in their houses and electronic appliances like fridge, washing machine, fan and many other electronic appliances kept in their houses got damaged.
All the injured have been rushed to the hospital. On receiving information about the incident, Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar immediately reached the trauma center located at Jayarogya Hospital and enquired about the health of all the injured. Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar gave instructions to provide better medical facilities to the three injured members of the same family. He also provided financial assistance of Rs 40,000 each to the three injured for treatment.
