Congress has announced the names of candidates late night for all the 7 assembly by-election seats in Rajasthan. Congress has given ticket to KC Meena from Deoli-Uniara. Angered by this, youth leader Naresh Meena has announced not to contest the elections. Naresh Meena became emotional at the time of the announcement. Devli Uniara assembly seat is dominated by Meena and Gurjar castes. Harish Meena was elected Tonk MP in the recent Lok Sabha elections. Due to this, Devli Uniara assembly seat has become vacant. Now voting will be held on this seat also on November 13.
Here, Naresh Meena has expressed his intention to contest elections from Deoli-Uniara assembly seat. Regarding this, he met party president Govind Singh Dotasara and Rajasthan in-charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa and informed them about his strategy. Earlier, Congress leader Prahlad Gunjal has also advocated giving ticket to Naresh Meena.
