Anil Vij, who has been made a minister in the Naib Singh Saini-led government in Haryana, expressed displeasure over the ‘absence’ of some senior officials in the meeting called here on Thursday evening. The Bharatiya Janata Party government took oath on Thursday itself. Many big leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Chief Ministers of NDA governments participated in the program.
Vij appeared angry when most of the senior officers did not reach the Circuit House in Ambala Cantt. The minister had come to address the first meeting of officials at the Circuit House. Ambala Cantt MLA Vij had reached Circuit House from Panchkula after the swearing-in ceremony.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Aparajita and Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Satinder Siwach were present at the Circuit House to receive the newly appointed Cabinet Minister. Vij took strong cognizance of the alleged absence of the Deputy Commissioner and Superintendent of Police in the meeting. He told the ADC and SDM present in the meeting that the meeting with the officers was being cancelled.
Later speaking to media persons, Vij said that they will gather information about the reasons behind the absence of senior officials and they will be asked to explain the reasons.
Who became ministers?
The new cabinet ministers include Krishna Lal Panwar, Rao Narbir Singh, Mahipal Dhanda, Vipul Goyal, Dr. Arvind Kumar Sharma, Shyam Singh Rana, Ranbir Gangwa, Krishna Kumar Bedi, Shruti Chaudhary and Aarti Singh Rao. Apart from these, Rajesh Nagar and Gaurav Gautam took oath as Ministers of State (Independent Charge).
