Jhunjhunu News: In Rajasthan’s Jhunjhunu district, an army soldier killed his wife and then committed suicide. The bodies of both were found lying in the house. Injury marks were seen on the woman’s body. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot and took both the bodies in their custody and kept them in the hospital mortuary for postmortem. This incident is from Sultana town of the district. Family feud is being said to be the reason behind the incident. The soldier killed his wife by strangulating her.
The deceased person has been identified as 30-year-old Rajesh, son of Ramswaroop, who was a resident of Charavas in Sultana area of the district and was working in the army. He was also on leave for the last four months. Buhana Deputy said that the deceased Rajesh lived in a rented house in Sultana town with his wife Manju Kumari. He had taken the house on rent only five days ago. Both of them had no children.
Deceased Manju’s brother Vikram Kumar has filed a report against her father-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law for harassing her by beating her. Sultana police is investigating the matter. At the same time, the deceased’s brother told that his sister Manju was married to Rajesh on May 21, 2022. Since marriage, her in-laws used to beat her.
