Police will take action against those who spoil law and order
In this case, Cachar Police Chief Numal Mahatta said that proper force was used to disperse the crowd in violent demonstrations. He said, 300-400 people attended the rally in protest against the Waqf law. Earlier the rally was being done in a calm manner, but some miscreants entered the rally, and then they tried to spoil law and order. But we controlled the situation. All criminals trying to spoil law and order will be charged under the law.
Protesters condemned stone pelting during rally
A protestor who joined the Waqf law in Assam said that he had organized a peaceful demonstration in Silchar. We oppose this law because it is anti -Islam. We also condemn the incident of stone pelting because we were performing calmly. We are not against the police, so those who pelted stones at the policemen should not be spared.
