Sensation spread when a letter containing a conspiracy to blow up the temple of folk god Baba Ramdev, who is said to be the Kaliyug incarnation of Lord Krishna, located in the Ramdevra town of Jaisalmer district of Rajasthan, was received. These days the fair of folk god Baba Ramdev is in full swing. Everyday lakhs of devotees from different parts of the state and the country are reaching Ramdevra to visit the mausoleum of Baba Ramdev in this fair. Meanwhile, sensation spread in the whole area when a letter threatening to blow up the temple of Baba Ramdev was received at the Pokhran railway station of Jaisalmer.
This letter was received by the GRP head constable at Pokhran railway station. The police administration has been made aware of this letter. After receiving the letter, the head constable informed his senior officials, police and district administration about it. While in this letter written in the name of Aapka Sevak, it is written about hiding bombs in the horses offered to folk god Baba Ramdev and blasting them. It is further written in the letter that terrorists can blow up the temple by placing bombs in cloth horses. Along with this, the horses coming to the temple premises for offering should be checked and devotees should be allowed entry only after searching them, so that the lives of innocent people can be saved.
After receiving the information about the letter being found at the railway station, the police and the district administration along with all the security and intelligence agencies have come on alert mode. Also, as a precautionary measure, the security of Pokhran railway station, Ramdevra town and Baba Ramdev’s Samadhi Sthal premises has been increased. Apart from this, a large number of policemen have been deployed there.
Not only this, Baba Ramdev temple premises have also been evacuated as a precautionary measure. Along with this, the cloth horses kept in the temple premises have also been taken out of the temple premises. ATS and bomb disposal squad have also been informed and called to Ramdevra. Along with this, the devotees coming to Ramdevra for darshan are also being checked. Police and security agencies are also scanning the CCTV cameras installed at Pokhran railway station and other places.
