Police have also claimed that accused Gurmail Singh and Dharamraj Kashyap had fired six rounds at Baba Siddiqui. Baba Siddiqui had fallen on the ground after being shot. After which he was taken to the hospital. But he died on the way. After the firing, the accused were trying to escape. But the police arrested both of them.
According to sources, during interrogation, the accused told the police that they had learned shooting through YouTube. After getting this information, the police is now trying to find out where the accused used to practice firing. Also, the accused were in contact with the conspirators through Snapchat and Instagram. Three months ago, a conspiracy to murder Baba Siddiqui was hatched in Pune.
Two lakh rupees given to the shooters for the murder
Harish Kumar Balkram Nishad (23), resident of Bahraich district of Uttar Pradesh, was presented in Mumbai court. The court has sent Harish to police custody till October 21. According to the police, Praveen and Shubham Lonkar had given Rs 2 lakh to shooters Gurmail Singh and Dharamraj Kashyap to carry out the murder of Baba Siddiqui. This amount of money was sent to both the shooters through accused Harish Kumar. Shiva Gautam, the third accused in the Baba Siddiqui murder case, is still absconding.
