Accused in police custody
The Gujarat ATS has busted the gang that settled Bangladeshi intruders in India. Police arrested a Bangladeshi citizen, who used to make fake documents to provide Indian citizenship to Bangladeshi citizens who were living illegally with a local people. The ATS came to know that a Bangladeshi citizen, named Rana Sarkar alias Mohammad Dadal Alam, is currently living on Bage Kausar, Kanal Road in Narol area of Ahmedabad and is running a shop called “VIP Mobile and Money Transfer”.
The accused has made an Indian passport based on his fake identity documents. Apart from this, Rana Sarkar and Rohul Islam have helped in making Indian passports by preparing fake documents like Aadhaar card, PAN card and voter card for other Bangladeshi citizens and individuals, along with the owner of Al Rush Enterprises, Soeb Qureshi.

13-14 Bangladeshis settled in India
A team formed under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner of Police Virendra Singh Parmar raided the shop of Rana government on 12 May 2025, from where Aadhaar card, PAN card, voter card, National ID Card of Bangladesh, Government of India’s e-mail card, bank of Baroda pass book etc. were seized. During interrogation, the Rana government said that Rohul Islam brought 13-14 Bangladeshi citizens to India. He made his fake identity cards with the help of Soeb Mohammad Qureshi. With the help of these fake identity cards, he had made Indian passports online by applying online.

The police team was also raided in a shop named Al Rush Enterprises, from where copies of 22 fake stamps were recovered to make fake Aadhaar cards. More than 300 fake Aadhaar card formats, copies of PAN card, fake copies of birth certificates and other documents were recovered from the accused’s computer and laptop. They can be used in illegal activities. Soeb Qureshi, along with Rana Sarkar and Rohul Islam, made passports on fake documents of a total of 17 Bangladeshi citizens and applied for 9 others.

Information of the accused
1. Mohammad Dadal Alam alias Rana Sarkar, resident District Kishoreganj, Bangladesh: In 2012, I illegally infiltrated India and came to Dinhata region of West Bengal. He then reached Ahmedabad in 2015 via various cities. In 2017, passport was made and started working to make fake documents from 2018.
2. Soeb Mohammad Qureshi, resident Nawalgarh, Rajasthan: Since 2015, Al Rush has been applying online for Aadhaar, PAN and passport through a shop called Enterprises.
Fake documents
Passports made on the basis of fake documents can be used not only for fraud, but for terrorism, espionage, illegal immigration and other works. This can cause serious security threats. Along with this, there is a direct threat to India’s national security, sovereignty and security of citizens.
Legal action against the accused
Accused (1) Mohammad Dadal Alam alias Rana Sarkar, (2) Soeb Mohammad Qureshi and (3) Rohul Islam (currently in South Korea) have been registered dated 12/05/2025 at ATS Police Station FIR No. 03/2025. Legal action has been initiated against them under Section 336 (2), 337, 338, 340 (2), Section 12 (1) (B), 12 (2) and Foreign Act, 1946 of the Indian Penal Code.

Keeping in mind the current security situation, the Government of India and the Gujarat government have directed strict legal action against the intruders living illegally in the country and those who help them. Under these instructions, senior officers of Gujarat Police have been ordered to take concrete action and under this, ATS officers have been asked to keep special monitoring.
