The accused has been identified as Pappu, who attacked the bitch to take revenge. According to the police, Pappu first beat the bitch badly with sticks and then threw hot coals on her. He did not stop here, he tied the injured dog with ropes to the back of his bike and kept dragging it on the streets of Nayapura.
According to an India Today report, the accused’s anger was quelled when he crushed the bitch’s head with a big stone, resulting in her death.

A police officer from City Kotwali police station said, “Pappu was angry because the bitch had bitten his daughter. He tried to take revenge in the most barbaric way. A few days before the incident, the dog had allegedly bitten Pappu’s daughter. attacked, which led to such violent revenge.”
After examining the CCTV footage, the police arrested Pappu and registered a case of animal cruelty against him.
