Bhagavad gita is mandatary in Uttarakhand: A highly historic decision has been taken for all the schools in Uttarakhand, known as the land of the gods in India, which will now see religious mental changes in every children of the state in the coming time. Children will now be taught Shrimad Bhagavad Gita in the schools of Uttarakhand.
The official order regarding this has clearly stated that in the prayer meeting of the government schools of the state, the students should be pronounced with a verse meaning of the Gita so that they are well aware of the Indian knowledge tradition along with modern education. The order issued by the Chief Education Officers, Dr. Mukul Kumar Sati, Director of Uttarakhand Secondary Education, said that the scientific approach of the shloka to be heard in the prayer meeting will also be given to the students.
Apart from this, teachers have been ordered to be written in detail on the notice board by declaring a verse of Geeta every week, which students will practice daily and discussion will be taken at the end of the week and will also be taken ‘feedback’. The order also states that teachers are required to explain the shlokas once a week and inform the students about how the principles of Srimad Bhagavad Gita develop human values, behavior, leadership skills, ability, ability, emotional balance and scientific thinking.
Sanskar should also be seen in everyone’s life and behavior
Students should also be informed that the teachings of the Gita are based on psychology, logic, behavioral science and moral philosophy, which is very important for the whole of humanity from a secular perspective. Along with this, it should be clarified at the school level that students should not be taught only as subject or reading material, but they should also see those things in their life and behavior.
According to the order, at every level it should be ensured that students are used to use the education and scientific approach to Srimad Bhagavad Gita to develop self-control, self-control, development of balanced attitude towards life, creation of science, and make them good citizens.
CM Pushkar Singh Dhami also ordered orders
According to Dr. Mukul Kumar Sati, Director of Education, under the National Education Policy-2020, it is very important for students to study the basis of Indian knowledge tradition along with many different subjects. Earlier, in a meeting held on 6 May about the state curriculum in Uttarakhand, Chief Minister Dhami ordered the Srimad Bhagavad Gita and Ramayana to be included in it. He said, ‘Srimad Bhagavad Gita and Ramayana have also been included in the state curriculum outline on the orders of the Chief Minister and according to this, books will be made available from the upcoming academic session.
The chairman of the Madrasa Education Board welcomed this initiative
Mufti Shamoon Kasami, President of Uttarakhand Madrasa Education Board, has openly welcomed the government’s initiative and said that it is a great initiative to teach Shrimad Bhagavad Gita and Ramayana in schools and to introduce people to them. He said that both Rama and Krishna are our ancestors and knowing about them is very important for every Indian.
He also said that when Sanskrit verses are presented in front of people with detail, they will know how close we are. Kasami said that with such decisions, brotherhood will be stronger among the people and the state will move forward. He also informed that the Madrasa Board has decided to make an agreement with the Sanskrit department to teach children Sanskrit in madrasas. He said that the purpose of Sanskrit growth in madrasas is that our distances should be reduced and the state should move forward.
