Former Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala’s Jan Nayak Janata Party, which was struggling to save its existence after breaking the alliance with BJP, has now suffered a major setback just three days before the voting. JJP candidate from Panipat Rural Raghunath Kashyap has left the party and joined BJP party. Raghunath Kashyap, who was contesting from the rural seat in BJP, left the party on September 10 after not getting the ticket. After this he joined JJP. After joining, JJP had given him the ticket. After getting the ticket, he was seeking votes for JJP, but on Wednesday he suddenly left JJP and joined BJP. Acting CM Naib Saini presented the party flag to Raghunath. Along with this, Raghunath Kashyap announced his support to BJP candidate Mahipal Dhanda from Panipat Rural seat.

He heavily criticized BJP for joining JJP.

Raghunath Kashyap was the state president of OBC Morcha of BJP. He was hoping to get a ticket from Panipat Rural Assembly but he did not get the ticket. Angered by this, he left BJP on the evening of 10 September. On September 12, he joined JJP. JJP-ASP alliance had given him ticket and fielded him in the election. Then he strongly criticized BJP. Raghunath Kashyap had said that he was in BJP since 1984. Justice was not done to him in BJP. For this reason he had to leave the party. Raghunath Kashyap was also campaigning for the past few days. But now he again turned around and joined BJP.

JJP is shocked, State Vice President said, will take strict action

JJP is in trouble after Panipat Rural candidate Raghunath Kashyap left the party just before voting. JJP state vice president Devendra Kadian said that the party gave full respect to Raghunath Kashyap. Kashyap was given ticket from Panipat Rural Assembly constituency. He has now left the party and gone back to another party. The party will soon meet and take a decision regarding this and strict action will be taken.
