Bihar By Election Result 2024: After the victory of NDA in the by-elections held on four assembly seats of Bihar, discussions have started regarding the assembly elections to be held next year. In this by-election, the opposition grand alliance has faced defeat on all four seats. After this big victory of NDA, now there is every possibility of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar being made the CM face during the assembly elections to be held next year.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also expressed happiness over the results of the by-elections in Bihar. While addressing the party workers at the BJP headquarters, he specifically mentioned the victory of Bihar. And praised Nitish Kumar a lot. Party president Jagat Prakash Nadda also praised Nitish Kumar. Political experts believe that this stance of top BJP leaders has made it clear that Nitish Kumar will once again become the face of NDA in Bihar.
NDA got a big victory on these four seats
Assembly by-elections were held in four assembly seats of Bihar, Ramgarh, Tarari, Belaganj and Imamganj. Due to proposed assembly elections in the state next year, both the ruling and opposition camps had put in full force in this by-election. Prashant Kishore also wanted to show his strength through Jansuraj Party so that he could enter the electoral arena with full strength in the assembly elections to be held next year. NDA has been successful in showing its strength in the assembly by-elections held on these four seats.
By winning all four seats, NDA has strengthened its political ground for next year’s assembly elections. During the by-elections, BJP has won two seats, while JDU has won one seat and Jitan Ram Manjhi’s party HAM has won one seat.
Manjhi has succeeded in making his daughter-in-law Deepa Manjhi win the Imamganj seat of Gaya district. During the by-elections, JDU has also destroyed RJD’s strong fort in Belaganj. RJD had been in possession of this seat for almost three decades. JDU’s Manorama Devi has won this seat.
PM Modi made special mention of Bihar and Nitish
After the big victory of NDA in Maharashtra, while addressing the workers at the party headquarters in the capital Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi specifically mentioned Bihar. Referring to the victory on all four assembly seats in Bihar, Prime Minister Modi said that we have achieved this victory under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. He said that the people of Maharashtra have rejected ‘Chursi First’. His clear message was that NDA’s unity is more important than the CM’s chair.
Party’s national president Jagat Prakash Nadda also praised Nitish Kumar’s strong leadership while mentioning Bihar. Political meanings are being drawn from this praise given by PM Modi and Nadda. Experts say that PM Modi has now given the message that in future also the fight will be fought by NDA in Bihar under the strong leadership of Nitish Kumar.
NDA also united under the leadership of Nitish
After the announcement of the results of the by-elections held on all four seats of Bihar, a large gathering of NDA leaders was also seen at the residence of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Leaders of BJP and other allies reached Nitish Kumar’s residence and congratulated him for his huge victory in the elections. Leaders of Chirag Paswan’s party LJP Ram Vilas also reached the Chief Minister’s residence and praised Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for giving strong leadership.
Experts say that after this victory on all four seats of Bihar, Nitish Kumar’s leadership has strengthened and his political stature seems to be increasing further. During the by-elections, Nitish Kumar had reached all four assembly constituencies to campaign.
He also held a meeting in Tarari assembly constituency where the BJP candidate has won. By giving victory to the NDA candidates led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, the voters have once again approved the leadership of Nitish Kumar.
Big political message came out from the posters of Bihar
After this big victory in Bihar, big posters have been put up in many other areas including the capital Patna. In these posters, along with congratulating NDA for its big victory, it is also written in big letters that ‘Nitish Kumar again in 2025’. In these posters, pictures of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and party’s national president Jagat Prakash Nadda along with LJP leader Chirag Paswan, BJP leader Dilip Jaiswal and other senior JDU leaders have been put up.
It has become clear that Nitish Kumar will remain the face of NDA in Bihar in future. On the other hand, the leaders of the opposition grand alliance are trying to introspect after the crushing defeat in the assembly by-elections. After the defeat in the semi-final match of the ruling party, now the path of the opposition grand alliance is not considered easy in the final match to be held next year.
